It’s hard to believe that not so long back this used to be the site of the local pit’s slag heaps. Now it’s a lovely countryside park which is home to all sorts of wildlife. A wander through the trees is a very relaxing experience. Here, the late evening spring sunshine peeks through the trees, creating a lovely scene.
